How not to waste time when playing in English.

Where is its place in wise language education? Is this really enough that the play you have planned is in English? How much time does it take to instruct the students before they begin? How many of them really play and how many just watch? There are quite many language games which with a closer look turn out to be nothing more than a mere waste of time. It should never be our aim to fill out the classroom time with whatever, as long as it is fun and done in English.

Let us see what a good way of playing is and how to implement it in the classroom so that the atmosphere stays fun but at the same time our students truly interact and process language in a deeper way.
